Apparently all the rumors about a redesigned PSP were true! I’m a big PSP fan and I’ve been following the PSP system ever since its launch. I’ve had a lot of issues with the system and it looks like SONY is finally addressing these issues with the new model.
While it has hasnt been official announced yet, here is what we know so far:
- The PSP Go will have 16 gb of flash memory built into the system. The UMD drive is gone.
- It will have great connectivity to your PS3 and it sounds like the rental service through PSN will extend to the PSP Go.
- It will arrive this fall! WOoo!
- Its 43% lighter than the PSP 3000.
- 3.8 inch screen, which is 11% smaller than the PSP’s 4.3 inch screen.
Hopefully the official announcement at e3 will have more info!
Hmm interesting. Though, I’m tired of all these redesigns they keep coming up with. They should just invest their energy into a new portable system.

I agree with you…I’m actually a little confused because I’m not 100% sure if it is a redesign or a NEW system entirely. No word on the specs, we’ll have to see.
